EIN PROJEKTFAHRZEUG NAMENS „MC320“ von MCCHIP-DKR
In Mechernich, unweit von Köln, befindet sich ein hochmodernes Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrum für Chiptuning, betrieben von der Firma mcchip-dkr. Das Team um Geschäftsführer Danny KUBASIK kümmert sich hier um reine Softwareentwicklung für POWER- und ECO-Optimierungen, Sonderlösungen für Umbauten, Vmax-Aufhebungen oder -Beschränkungen, Schaltzeitverkürzungen sowie Softwareabstimmungen für Rennfahrzeuge und -trucks.
Einem BMW 220i mit 2.0-Liter-Turbo-Triebwerk und Serienwerten von 184 PS (= 135 kW) Leistung, 270 Nm Drehmoment und einer Vmax von 235 km/h ist bei mcchip-dkr eine signifikante Leistungssteigerung zuteil geworden. Das Ergebnis ist ein Projektfahrzeug namens „mc320“, bei dem nicht nur die hauseigene Software der Stufe 3 aufgespielt ist, sondern auch ein „mc320“-Upgrade des Turboladers durchgeführt wurde. Ferner wurden eine Downpipe, ein 200-Zellen-Sportkat sowie ein größerer Ladeluftkühler installiert. Die Felgen vom Typ LV-1 in 8,5×19 ET42 – natürlich mit adäquater Bereifung – stammen von mbDESIGN. Zur Optimierung der Fahrdynamik ist ein KW-Gewindefahrwerk der Variante 3 verbaut. Und schließlich wurde dem Zweier noch ein Foliendesign verpasst.
Die geneigte Kundschaft hat bei mcchip-dkr die Wahl zwischen einerseits einer reinen Softwareoptimierung auf 255 PS (= 188 kW) Leistung, 400 Nm Drehmoment und 250 km/h Vmax für 1.099,00 Euro oder aber andererseits dem „mc320“-Kit zum Preis von 6.399,00 Euro. Der „Bausatz“ beinhaltet die Aufspielung der Software der Stufe 3, das „mc320“-Upgrade des Turboladers, die Downpipe sowie den 200-CSPI-Sportkat, was wiederum mit 320 PS (= 235 kW) Leistung, 435 Nm Drehmoment und einer Vmax von 260 km/h einhergeht.

MCCHIP-DKR UNCOVERS THE BMW 220i “MC320” project car
Located in Mechernich, near the city Cologne in Germany, the MCCHIP-DKR team around Managing Director Danny KUBASIK is operating an ultramodern research- and development center for software development of POWER- and ECONOMY-optimization. Talking about racing cars and trucks, customized solutions for conversions, governor delimiter or limitation, faster shifting as well as certain software adjustment are just some of their profound specialties.
Lately, a significant performance upgrade has been implanted into a BMW 220i with a 2.0 liter-turbo-engine, original 184 HP (=135 kW), 270 ft-lbs torque and a max speed of 235 mph. The outstanding result is a project car named “MC320”. The proprietary internal level three software as well as a “MC320” upgrade of the turbocharger joined the project and to unlock even more potential a highly efficient downpipe plus a 200-cell-sport-catalytic and a larger intercooler has been installed.
MBDesign supplied the outstanding rims type LV-1 in 8,5×19 Offset42, obviously with matching tires. In order to keep the mighty power on track a KW-coilover suspension version three supports the driving dynamics. And after all that the BMW 220i got wrapped in a fancy design vinyl to emphasize its remarkable character.
Interested customers have the choice between two “assembly kits”: 255 HP (=188 kW) power, 400 ft-lbs torque and 250 mph top speed for 1.099,00 Euro or alternative the “MC320”-kit with 320 HP (=235 kW) power, 435 ft-lbs torque and a max speed of 260 mph for 6.399,00 Euro. This includes the level three software plus the “MC320”-upgrade for the turbocharger plus the downpipe and last but not least the 200-CSPI-sport-catalytic.
