Mit dem neuen BRABUS BODO schlägt die Luxusmanufaktur aus Bottrop ein neues Kapitel ihrer Unternehmensgeschichte auf. Das streng limitierte High-Performance Gran Turismo Coupé ist nicht nur ein technisches Meisterwerk, sondern zugleich eine emotionale Hommage an den BRABUS-Gründer Bodo Buschmann, dessen Vision eines ultimativen BRABUS-Supersportwagens nun Realität geworden ist.
Seine Weltpremiere feierte der BRABUS BODO beim renommierten FuoriConcorso am Comer See. Die Produktion des exklusiven Coachbuilt-Supercars ist weltweit auf lediglich 77 Exemplare limitiert – eine bewusste Referenz an das Gründungsjahr von BRABUS im Jahr 1977.

Der BRABUS BODO verbindet klassische Gran-Turismo-Proportionen mit modernster Fahrzeugtechnologie. Die komplette Karosserie besteht aus hochfestem Carbon, gefertigt im aufwendigen Pre-Preg-Verfahren. Neben maximaler Steifigkeit ermöglicht diese Bauweise ein vergleichsweise geringes Trockengewicht von lediglich 1.774 Kilogramm. Gleichzeitig wurde die gesamte Aerodynamik im Windkanal entwickelt und optimiert.
Aktive Aerodynamik für 360 km/h
Optisch wird der BRABUS BODO von seiner flachen, skulpturalen Silhouette, den markanten LED-Matrix-Scheinwerfern und dem charakteristischen Kühlergrill mit 13 vertikalen Streben geprägt. Die aktiven Aerodynamikelemente spielen dabei nicht nur optisch, sondern auch technisch eine zentrale Rolle.
Ein elektrisch ausfahrbarer Heckspoiler passt sich automatisch den Fahrbedingungen an und fungiert bei starken Bremsmanövern oberhalb von 140 km/h zusätzlich als Air Brake. Ergänzt wird das Konzept durch einen Sicht-Carbon-Frontspoiler, einen aerodynamisch optimierten Diffusor sowie zahlreiche Luftführungen für Motor, Bremsen und Kühlsysteme.
Für maximalen Grip sorgen speziell entwickelte Continental SportContact 7 Force Hochleistungsreifen auf exklusiven 21-Zoll BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT „Shadow Edition“ Schmiederädern.
Handgefertigter V12-Biturbo mit 1.000 PS
Das Herzstück des BRABUS BODO ist ein handgefertigter 5,2-Liter-V12-Biturbo-Motor, der eine Leistung von 1.000 PS (735 kW) und ein maximales Drehmoment von 1.200 Nm entwickelt.
Die Fahrleistungen unterstreichen eindrucksvoll den Anspruch des neuen Gran Turismo:
- 0–100 km/h in 3,0 Sekunden
- 0–200 km/h in 8,5 Sekunden
- 0–300 km/h in 23,9 Sekunden

Die Kraftübertragung erfolgt über ein speziell abgestimmtes Achtgang-Automatikgetriebe auf die Hinterräder. Unterstützt wird das Antriebskonzept durch ein elektronisch geregeltes Sperrdifferenzial sowie ein komplexes Fahrdynamikmanagement mit fünf Fahrmodi – von „Wet“ bis „Sport+“.
Fahrwerk auf Rennstreckenniveau
Für die Fahrwerksabstimmung arbeitete BRABUS eng mit Technologiepartner KW zusammen. Das elektronisch geregelte Fahrwerk mit Doppelquerlenker-Vorderachse und Raumlenker-Hinterachse bietet fünf unterschiedliche Abstimmungen – vom komfortablen Reisemodus bis zum kompromisslosen Rennstrecken-Setup.
Zusätzlich verfügt der BRABUS BODO über ein Lift-System an Vorder- und Hinterachse, das das Fahrzeug um bis zu 25 Millimeter anheben kann.
Die Bremsanlage setzt auf innenbelüftete Carbon-Keramik-Bremsscheiben mit Sechskolben-Bremssätteln an der Vorderachse und Hochleistungsbremsen an der Hinterachse.

The BRABUS BODO combines classic Gran Turismo proportions with cutting-edge automotive technology. Inspired by the legendary grand tourers of past decades, its design language has been reinterpreted for the modern era, resulting in an extraordinary automobile that seamlessly blends elegance, performance and German engineering excellence.
The entire body is constructed from high-strength carbon fiber using an advanced pre-preg manufacturing process. This approach delivers exceptional rigidity while keeping the dry weight to just 1,774 kilograms (3,911 lbs.). At the same time, every aspect of the vehicle’s aerodynamic package has been developed and refined in the wind tunnel.
Active Aerodynamics for 360 km/h Performance
Visually, the BRABUS BODO is defined by its low-slung silhouette, distinctive LED matrix headlights and the signature grille featuring 13 vertical slats. However, the aerodynamic elements are not merely aesthetic features—they play a crucial role in the vehicle’s overall performance.
An electrically deployable rear spoiler continuously adapts to driving conditions and functions as an air brake during heavy braking maneuvers at speeds above 140 km/h (87 mph). The aerodynamic package is complemented by an exposed carbon front spoiler, a highly efficient rear diffuser and numerous air channels designed to optimize cooling and downforce.
Maximum grip is provided by specially developed Continental SportContact 7 Force high-performance tires mounted on exclusive 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT „Shadow Edition“ forged wheels.
Hand-Built 1,000 HP V12 Biturbo Engine
At the heart of the BRABUS BODO lies a handcrafted 5.2-liter V12 biturbo engine, producing an impressive 1,000 horsepower (735 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels via a specially developed eight-speed automatic transmission. An electronically controlled differential and sophisticated vehicle dynamics management system with five driving modes—from „Wet“ to „Sport+“—ensure optimum performance under all conditions.
Race-Inspired Chassis Technology
For the suspension setup, BRABUS worked closely with technology partner KW. The electronically controlled suspension combines a double-wishbone front axle with an advanced multi-link rear axle and offers five distinct driving modes, ranging from comfortable grand touring to uncompromising track performance.
In addition, the BRABUS BODO features a front and rear lift system capable of raising the vehicle by up to 25 millimeters, improving everyday usability.
Braking performance is handled by a high-performance carbon-ceramic braking system featuring six-piston calipers at the front and a motorsport-inspired setup at the rear.
