Der Name BBM Motorsport in Senden bei Münster ist seit der Firmengründung vor sechs Jahren durch die beiden Protagonisten Björn BERLEMANN und Marcel WIECHMANN zum Inbegriff für Qualität avanciert. Durch die Partnerschaft mit JUCYARTS wurden YouTube-Videos, welche 3 mal in der Woche Mittwochs / Freitags und Sonntags jeweils um 11.30h online gestellt werden, als neue Marketingstrategie zusätzlich „ins Boot geholt“. Über 100.000 Youtube Abonnenten auf dem BBM Youtube Kanal und die spektakulären Umbauten der Tuningschmiede sprechen jedenfalls eine deutliche Sprache.
So auch der VW Amarok Aventura V6, von dem hier und jetzt die Rede sein soll. Das BBM Motorsport-Team hat ihn in der Tat zu einem wahren Offroad-Monster umgebaut. Da wäre zunächst ein Bodylift-Kit von Delta 4×4 zum Preis von 2.067 Euro zzgl. Montage, das den Probanden um 100 mm gen Himmel „wachsen“ lässt. Auf 18-Zoll-Felgen namens Beadlock – ebenfalls von Delta 4×4 – wurden 33 Zoll Cooper STT Pro-Reifen in 305/60-18 aufgezogen und so für 3.772 Euro eine Rad-Reifen-Kombination der Sonderklasse realisiert. Um die großen Räder gut zur Geltung kommen zu lassen, haben die Sendener noch die extrabreiten Iceland Style Verbreiterungen / Kotflügel verbaut, für die 2.119 Euro in Rechnung gestellt werden. Für die 30-mm-Distanzscheiben pro Achse werden 297 Euro pro Achse aufgerufen. Auf besonderen Wunsch kann der Amarok für 1.309 Euro um weitere 40 mm angehoben werden, um 35 Zoll Cooper STT Pro-Reifen in 305/70-18 zu fahren, die mit 4.194 Euro zu Buche schlagen.
Weiter geht es mit dem – auch unter der Bezeichnung Bullen-, Hirsch- oder Kuhfänger bekannten – Front- bzw. Personenschutzbügel in Mattschwarz für 296 Euro in Kombination mit PIAA LED-Lampen zum Preis von 648 Euro pro Paar. Alle weiteren Chromteile am Fahrzeug sind schwarz matt gepulvert.
Die Grundfarbe des Fahrzeuges ist schwarz metallic. Das Fahrzeugdesign ist in Kooperation mit Beta Design entstanden. Und die Folierung hat BBM Motorsport vom Haus- und Hof-Folierer SL Premium in Recklinghausen vornehmen lassen. Die neue Grundfarbe nennt sich Charcoal matt metallic. Darüber kamen dann schwarze und grüne Muster samt der BBM- und Partner-Logos. Darüber hinaus wurden ein Unterfahrschutz von Rival sowie eine bis zu 300 kg belastbare Dachplattform von BlackSheep Innovations verbaut, wofür 800 Euro bzw. 2.400 Euro auf der Rechnung erscheinen. Um den Offroad-Charakter etwas mehr in den Fokus zu rücken, erhielt die Dachplattform noch eine PIAA LED-Leiste für 1.500 Euro sowie einen Safari-Schnorchel zum Preis von 600 Euro, um die Wat-Tiefe zu erhöhen. Nicht zu vergessen ist die hauseigene Leistungsoptimierung via BBM Chiptuning von 225PS / 550NM auf 265PS / 620NM für 790 Euro.
Die gesamten Umbaukosten beziffert BBM Motorsport auf über 20.000 Euro. Bei einem Fahrzeugneuwert von 57.900 Euro kommt also ein Gesamtwert von rund 77.900 Euro zustande. Alle Umbaumaßnahmen sind übrigens vom TÜV o. ä. abgesegnet und somit völlig legal auf deutschen Straßen zu bewegen.

THE VW AMAROK IN OFFROAD-TRIM by BBM
Since its foundation 6 years ago, the company’s name BBM Motorsport – located in Senden near Münster – advanced to an icon of quality because of the committed owners Björn BERLEMANN and Marcel WIECHMANN. By partnering with JUCYARTS a new marketing strategy evolved: YouTube-videos are published online three times a week on Wednesdays / Fridays and Sundays each at 11:30 AM. Over 100.000 YouTube subscribers on the BBM YouTube channel and the spectacular conversions of the tuning enterprise are sending out an unequivocal and clear signal.
Such as the herein described main subject, the VW Amarok Aventura V6. Indeed, the BBM Motorsport team converted it into a real off-road monster. To begin with, a body lift-kit by Delta 4×4 for 2.067 Euro plus tax lift the test subject by 100 mm towards heaven. The 18 inch rims called Beadlock – also by Delta 4×4 – with 33 inch Cooper STT Pro-tires in 305/60-18 present a wheel-tire combination of an exceptional luxury class of its own for 3.772 Euro. In order to enhance the effect of the huge wheels the crew installed the extra-wide Iceland style broadening / fenders adding 2.119 Euro to the bill. For the 30 mm spacer discs on each axle 297 Euro are due for each axle. On special request the Amarok can be lifted by another 40 mm for 1.309 Euro to enable the mounting of 35 inch Cooper STT Pro-tires in 305/70-18 – in this case 4.194 Euro raise the bill.
Another feature is the front- or pedestrian protection guard – also known as bull-, deer- or cattle-/cow-catcher – for 296 Euro in matte black combined with PIAA LED-lamps for 648 Euro each pair. All other vehicle chrome parts are black matte powder-coated.
The basic color of the vehicle is black metallic. The vehicle design emerged in cooperation with Beta Design. BBM Motorsport assigned its trusted supplier SL Premium in Recklinghausen to install the vinyl wrap. The updated basic color is called Charcoal matte metallic. On top of that black and green pattern along with BBM and business partner logos were applied. Further attachment parts are an under-ride guard by Rival as well as a rooftop platform – loadable up to 300 kg – by BlackSheep Innovations – adding further 800 Euro or 2.400 Euro to the itemized account. In order to focus more on the off-road character a PIAA LED-light bar has been mounted to the rooftop platform, as well as a safari-snorkel for 600 Euro to increase the tideland-depth. Worthy of mention is also the in-house performance increase via BBM chip tuning from 225PS / 550NM to 265PS / 620NM for 790 Euro.
BBM Motorsport estimates the total amount of this upgrade to more than 20.000 Euro. Considering the value of a new vehicle of 57.900 Euro, a full price of round about 77.900 Euro is achieved. All conversion measures are approved by the TÜV (or similarities) which provides the legality to cruise with this beast on German roads.
